KALAS HMWPE Cathodic Protection Cable sheath is a high molecular weight polyethylene (HMW/PE) jacket conforming to ASTM D 1248 l, Class A Cat. 4 Grade E5 is extruded over the copper. The polyethylene insulation also contains a metal deactivator to prevent degradation from copper while the cable is in service. The polyethylene jacket is both sunlight resistant and abrasion resistant.
